Remembering the past: AISSI joins INGV to document impact of racial laws on Italian scientists

The Association of Italian Scholars and Scientists in Israel (AISSI) is partnering with the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) in Italy on a project to collect and preserve testimonies and documents about the impact of racial laws on the Italian scientific and academic community. The project, called the "Memory Page," will also include accounts of "The Righteous" and those who resisted the racial laws, as well as those who supported those marginalized because of their Jewish identity. Contributions can be submitted to and will be used in events and initiatives involving schools, documentation centers, and cultural institutions in order to remember and learn from these tragic events. AISSI is proud to be a part of this important project to honor and remember the experiences of those affected by racial discrimination in Italy.
