About the Event
The Symposium will take place over two days.
The first day, on September 6th, the Tel Aviv University will host at the Gilman Humanities Building the 'Conference of the Heads of the Italian Archaeological Missions in Israel'.
The second day, September 7th, the Crusader Citadel in Acre will host the scientific seminar entitled "Italy and Israel: routes, trade, connections".
The Symposium aims at strengthening existing ties between Italy and Israel in the field of archaeology with a view to explore options for increased collaboration, ranging from students mobility and joint research teams to the authorization of new Italian archaeological missions in the Country.
